wanna play 30 day QaR blogathon?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for April 16, 2009:

Regrets are an utter waiste of emotion imho since it's beyond me to turn back time & there might likely have been something happening that I could have attended to more fully. Or not. Luckily I have been overcompensating by attending more fully to a few happenings than need be, like fx closely monitoring the political sit in Denmark & how it affects the financial crisis. For you who don't know, our prime minister got shipped off to the UN & as happy as I am to see him go, it may not cause a new election as soon as I'd like.
A recent annual checkup at the doctor doctor showed a slightly elated blood pressure which got me sent home with a fine lil piece of machinery for me to do further close monitoring for a few days. If anything has had my close attention of late, it would be that. And it made me say my goodbye's to the o c c a s i o n a l ciggy too. Final results landed at 106/77 & according to nurse Bridget's verdict: 'woman, you'll live' I rest assured.. anyhoow, back to the questione at hand:
A lil something that does seem to sneak under the radar is the inbox on my macbabe that somehow managed to overflood itself again (986 msgs & counting) whilst I was looking the other way (read: daydreaming, pondering life, picking fluff out of navel, marvelling at spring & going to the gym, now almost as often as I'd actually like to) -when this phenomina ocurred previously, lil hives & hot flushes accompagnied by stresslike thoughts of HTF am I ever gonna get myself ploughed through all this? forced me to click delete for instant peace of mind, shortly followed by a determined plan to STOP subscribing to the ridicilous amount of information a part of me appearently needs to absorb on a daily basis.
Ofcuz another part of me, the curious part who do not want to miss out, sabotages that very determined plan by shortly thereafter deciding to attend to that pos crucial info from now on, so no need to unsubsribe.. yeah right. As we speak, that pos crucial info has now been deleted again again, which leaves me with personal msgs & gaia 'stuff'' from..ahem..quite a while back till right about now.
And right about now is the perfect timing for today's questione for me with a small rewrite into present tense: What do I want to pay more attention to? Well, apart from attending to my inbox, it's time for me to snap out of my daydreaming & -drifting mode, play catch up with u gais & more so, get blogging again, something I have indeed been neglecting a bit of late whilst absorbed in my inner world.
I even missed my 2yrs anniversary on gaia the other day, how about that for lack of attention? ('o') To celebrate, I've decided to challenge myself to do a 30 day QaR blogathon. I did one last spring, it's great fun & quite a creative challenge to write based on a given subject every day. (& yes, deep bows (–_–) to the ones of you who already master the task). I'd love to have playmates, so let me know if you're game ..wanna play?

ummm… okay (he says, tentatively). I know of a couple of others lacking a sense of gravity on gaia also. This might pull us in for a month. I almost never do the Q&Rs so it will be a sure change of pace for me, and a challenge, I guess.
I remember your last blogathon Tara! It was awesome. Sounds like you're getting the energy going toward more focus.

I was once told that I prooved gravity to be a myth as I accidentally hurled myself rather rapidly downhill not missing most olive trees after an intense tequila night out in greece long time ago & now I feel oddly proud that it might be happening again tsk. Does this mean you're up for the challenge Donny? It will def be a treat to see yr writing skills let loose on the QaR's.
Hi Kathy, sneaking in between while I was writing.. yes, I need to give myself a lil kick in the butt methinks. I love this place & soo need to spread some tlc around more. I know you're into a 365 day challenge on wordpress, now that's a level of dilligence I can only gasp for air at.. how's that going? & sorry, I have yet to check it out, I've been trying since january to find the time to figure out fb tsk.. I'd like 48 hr days please.

if we get a tough one, we can always cheat & tell a story instead tsk.
oh my gosh tara that 365 challenge has at times been hair-pulling screaming “WHAT THE HELL WAS I THINKING???” but you know you just keep plodding along even though your mind is bitching wildly and…you know it will all be worth it when it's over with. And even before it's over with! i am happy you're playing and doing this. and yes about the cheating and telling stories. but i'm not sure that's cheating. :)
Natalie Goldberg says this thing about meditation practice (which I'm sure others have said but her voice stuck with me) - that the important thing is, it's a practice. You just do it whether you feel like it or not, whether your mind wanders, whether the sit bone on your right side is grinding into the floor, whether your nose itches…you just keep sitting until you're done and then you do the next thing.
And of course, she talks about writing the same way.
I don't know if telling a story is cheating but I do sometimes answer the question I wish I was asked instead of the one in front of me. I think I get that option - after all, I am the princess of my own little universe.
Natalie rocks, I love her books & so it is, writing qar's is like meditation practice (nailbiting incl) .. my remark about cheating by telling a story was me teasing you a lil bit, hence the tsk cuz I've noticed that you do sometimes answer another question instead & yes, you are soo entitled being a tinkgeek who kicks butt : ) now, where's my tiara? ('o')
A 30 day blogathon!! I think I was along for the last one Tara….What the heck…I will allow myself to get pulled back into the Gaia vorticity of views, bubbles, tubes, tunes, pics and all the pixilated energy bits that may convey a little peice of our souls, or so we dream.
As you know being on the other side of the world and often blog at night, between my chiro studies, brings the belated Pacificated blogs to you more Atlanticated folk.
wee! how wonderful Jordan & yes it was during my first blogathon we bubbled into each other on the QaR's & no worries re the time dif, I'll be sure to check in on you pacifists before bedtime ;-)

thank you Kes, I'm soo happy to have inspired you to get back into blogging. I've really missed it during my low activity level of late, blogging is my way of contributing to the flow on gaia & with friends wanting to play along, this will be such a blast : ) i'll put you on my list of playmates if you're you game for the QaR blogathon or do you mean blogging in general?

Well, hmmm … given the blog that I just wrote last night, I'll play too. lol … i'm just curious, does this game have any penalties if we miss a day or a weekend?
I only read a little bit, but I agree that we shouldn't regret… I was thinking about this last night actually… I mean sure, sometimes we wish we could go back in time, to fix something, or do something you've always wanted to… but the truth that we all know is, it wont happen. And I believe EVERYTHING happens for a reason. So what if you.. didnt get honors on your report card? So what if you got grounded the night of a party… maybe there was a big fight at the party, and you would've been involved (and im sure most of you wouldnt want to be) and hurt, badly… so you see? even if the reason isnt as clear as day like the party eample i gave, it will all catch up with you in the end. THANK YOU FOR READING! :)

and holy smokes. how 'bout that cher and cyndi together. and I think that is THE weirdest outfit I've ever seen cher wear. and i kind of, kind of, like it. weird. but I won't be wearing it myself, ever. no not ever.
