This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for June 06, 2008:
...........what's your guiding question?
What am I experiencing right now?
What is to be learned from this experience?
( rather than why oh why is this happening to me?)
Find the gift! ..live from my imagination & not my history.
know the difference between merely having a life story to still be living it.
If my life was a movie, would I want to watch it?
( am I living my life to my fullest & being the best version of me?
.......do I want to watch it one more time like I do my fav movie?)
there are other questions & especially the questioning of everything.
these are merely the litteral ones in regard to defining my life..
Life is like riding a bicycle.
You must keep moving forward

Great positive vibs dear gal…
What movie would you be?
I like the “sound of music”…I love watching it again and again…
Yours?
sometimes the questions are the answers…,oh wait?
Aley, gorgeous womaan.. that's a whole other questione.. my life is my movie :-D
& to answer yours.. sort of.. I'd say right now, it's a mix between
Pillowbook & Rocky horror picture show LOL!
- the ultimate as in wishfull thinking? I'll have to get back to you on that one,
cuz it takes a whole lot of dispositional refraiming for me to go there.. hang on..
Samme Samwise.. I'm laughing loudly.. & waiting.. ;-)
- nope, can't do it Aley.. guess I'm stuck in the now LOL!
I wouldn't want to be anything other than what is & my favorite movie is still a mystery. ;-)
I don't want to see my life movie over and over again, I prefer to make the next movie and the next…I'm the bicycle that keeps moving forward, though sometimes I could fall. Great answer and I dig that photo and I dig J.L. Seagull, too! Love, light and namaste`!
Heyy Mila, thanks for stopping by..
I think I might have to elaborate a bit on my words up top ;-)
I use the question as a guideline for defining life in the way of checking whether I am living my life the mostest… As in 'is my life so great that I would want to see it again like a really great movie'? there is only one movie per life.
I hope this clarifies my intention.. & thank you for alerting me to this..
I've just edited my reflection accordingly :-D
What is to be learned from this experience? ( rather than why oh why is this happening to me?)… It has taken me a long time to apply this question to my experiences and even still I am having difficulty .
Hi Alex,
thanks for stopping by & yes it is a process to be working on that doesn't nessesarly happen overnight.. We are a product of so many influences & it takes a while for a true shift to happen.
i've worked a lot with this, both in personal therapy as well as coaching others; A big light bulb moment for me was realizing that when I ask what can I learn from this, the power to change what might need changing, is in my hands;
Rather than the why oh why? cuz that sort of leaves me with the only option to suck it up, whatever ia happening..in more or more often less than constructive ways & with the feeling that it is beyond my control to do anything about it… I like the notion of being the master in my own house & the why of why gives me a feel of being a victim to
circumstance..
-t his strain of thoughts makes me think of the way of the peaceful warrior by dan millman. It's such a cool book to read & to get a good grasp of this in a very entertaining way too..
if you haven't read it already, you might wanna check it out :-) love & joy tara
